Programming and Resource Scheduling

Once a contract is embarked upon it is essential, and often a contract requirement, that everybody is clear on what will happen when and what will be required to achieve that.

We can assist in achieving this by producing for you a contract programme, which can be developed into a cashflow forecast, resource schedule and monitoring tool to maintain and aid site progress.

Subcontractor Procurement and Accounts

Once a contract is secured then one of the next main steps is to secure the services of trade and specialist subcontractors.

This needs to be progressed in line with the above having due regard to lead in and procurement time scales. Some trades may be the ones who priced at tender stage whilst other new prices may be sought to investigate the possibility of cost savings and the like.

We can assist / advise and carry out this process from initial requirement through to placing of an order on a bid that is competitive and compliant with the contract requirements.

The follow up to the above is once work has started the subcontractor accounts need to be managed financially for stage payments, variation evaluation and monitoring. Again this is something we can assist / advise or carry out for you.

Material Procurement

A very similar process to the subcontractor section but for the purchase of materials to be used in the contract.

Interim Valuations

As the contract progresses then you will need to ensure that you claim for and get paid to maintain a project cashflow for all the items of work carried out in accordance with the contract. This usually takes the form of a monthly interim valuations.

We can prepare these as required, bringing together values for the work as tendered, variations and claims for extras by way of instruction or claims from subcontractors or changes in procured materials.

This would include agreement with the client or their appointed representative.

Recently completed project
